Fees and registration procedures

The regular conference fee is £175, which will increase to £200 for registration forms received after 25 April 2008. Due to the generosity of the John Templeton Foundation, we are able to offer significantly reduced fees to full-time students who are enrolled in masters or doctoral programmes at bona fide universities, colleges or seminaries. The student conference fee is £75, which will increase to £100 for registration forms received after 25 April 2008. The conference fee includes admission to all conference lectures, the conference reception, scheduled coffee breaks, and a buffet lunch at St Anne’s College on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the conference. Due to limited conference capacity, we strongly recommend early registration.

There are three options for conference accommodation, as follows
1. Make your own arrangements with a local hotel or guest house, or staying with relatives or friends.

2. En-suite single rooms at nearby St Anne’s College, from the late afternoon of Sunday 22 June until the morning of Wednesday 25 June. The total cost of this package, which includes daily breakfast, is £200 (this does not include the separate conference fee, noted above.)

3. Standard single rooms at nearby St Anne’s College, from the late afternoon of Sunday 22 June until the morning of Wednesday 25 June. The total cost of this package, which includes daily breakfast, is £125 (this does not include the separate conference fee, noted above.)

Registration procedure
The conference e-mail address is nattheo@herald.ox.ac.uk. Please e-mail us if you wish to register for this conference, providing us with the following basic information:
- Your name, address, and e-mail
- If you are applying as a full-time student, details of the masters or doctoral programme in which you are enrolled;
- What accommodation you require – i.e., making your own arrangements, en-suite or standard room at St Anne’s College.

You will receive an automated reply immediately, to let you know that your message has arrived safely. Katie Law, the conference administrator, will be in touch within a week to confirm availability of your preferences by e-mail, and send you a registration form, and a statement of the costs of your chosen preferences. If your preferred accommodation is not available, we will advise you of any alternatives that we may be able to offer. This e-mail will also inform you of the mailing address to which your completed registration form and cheque should be sent. We will reserve your place for thirty days from the date on which we confirm that you have secured a place, and require payment of the conference and accommodation fee in full by then. Please note that we are unable to accept payment by credit card or direct bank transfer, or in any currency other than pounds sterling. Payment must made be in sterling, by a cheque drawn on a British bank, or an international money order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. A receipt for the funds will be issued on payment. If we do not receive full payment by the specified date, we will assume that you no longer wish to attend, and your place and accommodation will be offered to others

Cancellation Policy
If cancelling before 25 April 2008, we will reimburse 80% of all fees and accommodation charges paid. If cancelling before 31 May 2008, we will reimburse 70% of all fees and accommodation charges paid. We regret that we will not be able to reimburse cancellations made after 1 June 2008. Repayment will be made in pounds sterling, by cheque drawn on a British bank. Notice of cancellation should be provided by e-mail to the e-mail address provided above. Please note that we cannot accept cancellations made by telephone. Non-payment of conference fees does not constitute cancellation.
