Simon Conway Morris FRS, Professor of Evolutionary Palaeobiology at the University of Cambridge: Darwin’s compass: evolutionary biology and natural theology.

Simon Conway Morris, FRS, is Professor of Evolutionary Palaeobiology at the University of Cambridge. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society aged 39, was awarded the Walcott Medal of the National Academy of Sciences in 1987, and the Lyell Medal of the Geological Society of London in 1998. His publications include The Crucible of Creation (Oxford University Press, 1998) and Life’s Solution: Inevitable Humans in an Lonely Universe (Cambridge University Press, 2003).
